Leah Thompson is the President & Executive Director of GreenMotion, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, which she founded in 2006. Committed to her vision to promote sustainable environmental development, Ms. Thompson became an architect of an expedition that will lead her across the United States and Canada, in an alternative fueled vehicle in May 2009. Ms. Thompson will be working with a highly experienced Advisory Board, leaders from key community sectors, international organizations and governments to create new renewable energy strategies. Ms. Thompson is engaged in an unprecedented educational campaign to communicate the urgent and global need and best practices for renewable energies worldwide.

Jon R. Dougal serves as the Secretary on GreenMotion’s Board of Directors. Jon is known internationally as an expert writer, speaker, tradeshow director, and publisher on sustainable, environmental and business development technologies. Jon is the Founder, Editor, and Publisher of several newsletters focused on sustainability including: www.GreenSage.com; Building Industry Professionals for Environmental Responsibility, Green InSight from www.GreenMotion.org; these publications reach 300k subscribers in 21 countries. Dedicated to “Green Building, Natural Products, and Sustainable Living” these eNewsLetters cover all emerging topics, technologies, processes, and techniques needed by both professionals, government officials, agriculturalists, biofuel producers, and home owners in addressing climate change.

Jon Stein graduated in 1987 from California State University at Northridge and has been a CPA for almost 20 years. Previously, Jon had some private company experience as a controller in private industry. Jon has experience in companies of revenues up to $100 million, and has worked with manufacturers, importers, retailers, distributors, and finance companies. Jon primarily works on the accounting/consulting portion of businesses, and also provides tax services. Jon performs audits, reviews compilations, financial forecasts, turnarounds, and general consulting. Jon has performed forensic accounting and has significant experience in working with lending institutions.

Martin Devon, who will be a Director of GreenMotion, is a partner in The Normandin Group, a boutique executive search firm. Prior to joining The Normandin Group Mr. Devon served as the Chief Information Officer of Southern California manufacturer Sanders Industries, and as the Chief Operating Officer of SeaNet Technologies, the leading provider of network performance analysis tools.

With the support of the Ford Foundation, Mr. Dent moved to Brazil to serve as a consultant to BNDES, the National Development Bank of Brazil, where he sensed the need for better business training and assisted Roberto Lima Netto in founding SEBRAE, Brazil's Small Business Administration, today the country's most important 'business school' for aspiring entrepreneurs.
