Jon Stein graduated in 1987 from California State University at Northridge and has been a CPA for almost 20 years. Previously, Jon had some private company experience as a controller in private industry. Jon has experience in companies of revenues up to $100 million, and has worked with manufacturers, importers, retailers, distributors, and finance companies. Jon primarily works on the accounting/consulting portion of businesses, and also provides tax services. Jon performs audits, reviews compilations, financial forecasts, turnarounds, and general consulting. Jon has performed forensic accounting and has significant experience in working with lending institutions.
Jon is the Treasurer on GreenMotion’s Board of Directors and is also a partner in his accounting firm Stephan & Stein, Certified Public Accountants. Jon's partner, Peter Stephan, specializes in tax resolution matters and is very proficient in that area. Jon started his career with Stonefield Josephson Accountancy Corp. and has also worked more recently with Grobstein, Horwath & Company as a senior audit manager.
Jon is proficient at working with small to medium sized business and turning them around to be profitable as well as increasing profitability. Jon's service is second to none and offers exceptional value for all clients.
